Parents Council

Welcome to the Ijoba Shule Parents Council!

The Ijoba Shule Parents Council was first founded in 2005. All Ijoba Shule parents are automatically members of the Parents Council and are expected to become involved participants. A current copy of the Parents Council Handbook, which includes the by-laws will soon be available to members on this website.

The Parents’ Association sponsors both community building and fundraising activities. These are announced on our website, in the school calendar, on our group webpage, and fliers sent home by Shule instructors.

The Parents Council encourages parents to contribute their time and talents to Ijoba Shule. Your involvement is welcome in our fundraising events and in areas such as admissions open houses, the Drama and Athletic Departments, the libraries, the Annual Fund, the Capital Campaign, and special classroom projects. Please visit our website for a list of volunteer projects and upcoming events to sign up to help.

Whether your contribution is in the form of donating a baked good, making phone calls, or chairing an event, you can help us to achieve our ultimate goal of making the Ijoba Shule extended family and the students’ experience the best it can possibly be. We strive for excellence on every level!

As we begin this academic year, we have set personal goals not only for fundraising, but for friend-raising and fun-raising as well! We are looking forward to having you “in council”!
